2018年11月19日上午，应能源科学与工程学院李立清教授邀请，原科廷大学杰出教授、现阿德莱德大学化学工程学院王少彬教授在能源楼206为学院师生作了题为“Green catalytic materials：Nano carbon”的学术报告。此次报告会由李立清教授主持，学院相关专业教师及研究生参加。

报告会上，王少彬教授向大家分享了他的工作环境和研究工作，为大家介绍了用于他目前所做的高级氧化技术中的催化材料，针对金属材料催化活性较高但存在二次污染等问题，重点介绍了纳米碳“绿色”催化材料，分析了基于氮掺杂、硫掺杂、氮硫混合掺杂的石墨烯替代金属离子实现高级氧化中的催化反应过程。会议最后，王少彬教授对大家提出的问题都进行了详尽的分析和清晰的解答，并与部分师生进行了深入的交流和探讨。

报告人简介：

Prof. Shaobin Wang graduated from Peking University with degrees of B.Sc and M. Sc. and obtained Ph.D from the University of Queensland (Australia). He was a John Curtin Distinguished Professor at Curtin University and is now a full Professor at School of Chemical Engineering, University of Adelaide (Australia). His research interests focus on synthesis and application of nanomaterials for carbon dioxide utilization, energy conversion, and environmental remediation. He has published over 400 refereed journal papers with over 20,000 citations and an H-index of 81 and served as an editorial board member for several international journals. Prof. Wang is an Elsevier/Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher in the areas of Environmental Science and Technology/Engineering.
