According to the development orientation of building a world-famous high-level research university, the laboratory construction of the College of Energy Science and Engineering will be carried out in accordance with the three-level experimental platform construction mode. The first-level platform is "experimental teaching center of the College of Energy Science and Engineering". The second-level platform includes three professional teaching platforms, named as "energy and power engineering laboratory", "building environment and energy application engineering laboratory" and "renewable energy science and engineering laboratory". The third-level platform is the characteristic experimental teaching platform of each major of the college.
(1) Energy and Power Engineering Laboratory
Undergraduate Oriented Teaching: thermal basic laboratory (including fluid mechanics laboratory, engineering thermodynamics laboratory, heat transfer laboratory, thermal detection instrument laboratory), professional teaching laboratory (including thermal energy engineering laboratory, power mechanical engineering laboratory, thermal detection and control engineering laboratory, high efficiency and low pollution combustion laboratory), and computer laboratory;
Postgraduate Oriented Teaching: thermal equipment simulation and optimization experiment center, thermophysical property testing laboratory, high efficiency and low pollution combustion laboratory, etc.
(2) Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering Laboratory
Undergraduate Oriented Teaching: professional teaching laboratory (including energy and environment testing and evaluation laboratory, refrigeration system performance and ventilator performance laboratory, refrigeration and cryogenic engineering laboratory, air conditioning and constant temperature and humidity environment comprehensive laboratory, indoor air quality measurement laboratory, computer simulation laboratory);
(3) Renewable Energy Science and Engineering Laboratory
Undergraduate Oriented Teaching: professional teaching laboratory (including solar photovoltaic power generation laboratory, solar thermal utilization laboratory, biomass energy laboratory, wind-solar complementary laboratory);
Postgraduate Oriented Teaching: geothermal energy laboratory, wind energy resources assessment and utilization laboratory, etc.
